Redmi Note 15 SE 5G launch date confirmed, this cool phone will be launched in India on this day

The Redmi Note 15 5G was launched in India earlier this year, and now the company has announced that a special edition of the phone will be launched in India in the first week of April, dubbed the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G.

A dedicated microsite for the phone has also gone live, hinting at the design of the upcoming Redmi Note series phone. 

It appears to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive special edition of the handset. The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is also expected to feature a squircle-shaped rear camera module.

In a post on X, the Xiaomi sub-brand has announced that the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will be launched in India on April 2. 

Furthermore, a dedicated microsite for the smartphone is now live on Flipkart, confirming its availability in the country through the e-commerce platform. 

The teased design of the handset suggests that it could be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive New Year Cherry Red edition of the Redmi Note 15 5G.

The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will appear in red, with a gold frame. Additionally, the Redmi branding will be placed in the center of the back panel. 

It is expected to feature a similar design to the standard Redmi Note 15 5G, featuring a squircle-shaped camera module housing two cameras and an LED flash.

This comes just months after the Redmi Note 15 5G launched in India on January 6th, starting at ₹22,999 for the base variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. 

The 256GB variant was launched for ₹24,999. The phone is available in Black, Glacier Blue, and Mist Purple color options in India.
