Redmi 15A: This phone with 6300mAh battery launched, you will get premium features at a low price

The Redmi 15A has been launched in the Indian market. It is the latest addition to the Xiaomi sub-brand's affordable smartphone portfolio. 

It comes in three color options and is powered by an octa-core 5G chipset. Key features include a powerful 6300mAh battery and a dual rear camera unit. Let's find out how much this handset costs.

Redmi 15A Price in India

In India, the handset is priced at ₹12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, ₹16,499

for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and ₹14,499 for the top-end variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone will be available in three color options: Ace Black, Awesome Blue, and Amaze Purple.

The phone will go on sale on Flipkart, Mi.com, and authorized Xiaomi retail stores starting April 3. In terms of competition, this phone competes with the Realme P4 Lite 5G, Motorola g67 power 5G, Poco M7 Plus 5G, and Samsung Galaxy F36 5G.

1. Operating System: This dual-SIM phone runs on HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16. The company says that the phone will receive Android updates for four years and security patches for six years.
2. Special Features: This phone also has AI-based features like Circle to Search, Google Gemini and Xiaomi Interconnectivity which are found in expensive phones, which means you will be able to enjoy premium features in a cheap phone.
3. Screen: The device sports a 6.9-inch HD+ display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 800 nits peak brightness support.
4. Chipset: This phone works on the T8300 5G SoC built on a 6nm process, along with Mali-G57 GPU for better graphics, up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
5. Storage: Storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card.
6. Camera setup: The phone has a dual rear camera setup, with a 32-megapixel primary sensor. On the front, there's an 8-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
7. Battery: The phone is powered by a powerful 6300mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging and 7.5W wired reverse charging. The company claims up to two days of playtime on a single charge.
